Where is DECA?
DECA is comprised of several communities in Northeast DeKalb County, Georgia. We live in an unincorporated portion of DeKalb County, near the City of Chamblee. The boundaries of our area are essentially I-85 to the south, Clairmont Rd. to the west, Buford Hwy to the North, and Chamblee-Tucker Rd to the East. Here is a map of the DECA boundaries which should give you a better idea of where we are located.
Who is DECA?
Most of our members live in one of several neighborhoods: Appling Heights, Dresden Square, Frontier Woods, LaVenture Forest, Marlin Acres, Tanglewood Circle, Whispering Hills, and Wakefield Forest. We also have members that live outside the DECA boundaries along with business owners in the area that regularly attend DECA functions. DECA is served by four board members and community reps for each of the member neighborhoods.
